Service Description
An informational workshop for expecting parents or those interested in learning about different birth settings. In this workshop we will learn the difference between different birthing options including the providers who work within these settings. What you should usually expect from this birth settings and care, usual associated cost. Safety and evidence. Settings to be discussed: Hospitals and attached birth suites, Free standing birth centers, home births and free births. Providers to be discussed: Obstetricians/gynecologist, Nurse Midwives, Certified Professional Midwives, Lay Midwives. We will also briefly discuss the role of a doula. Additionally if you live in the Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, Tijuana Area, I will share trusted providers Presented by Miriam, Full Spectrum Doula, Child birth educator, Student Midwife and mother of 5! * This informational workshop will not include one on one advice.
